AAI currently has two campuses at Bangalore (India) and Bacolod-Silay (Philippines).
The Bangalore Campus
AAI, as a responsible organisation, wants to provide complete and comprehensive support and training to aspiring pilots in their endeavour to attain a commercial pilot licence. AAI, through its campus at Bangalore, handles the ground subject part of the training. In essence, the Bangalore campus permits us to provide complete training to our students and is also a major factor in our pursuit of excellence and high standards of end-to-end training and high success rate. This campus was established due to the following reasons:
- The period before departure is effectively used by AAI India to carry out pre-flight ground training. This puts the student on a solid foundation to commence and absorb the maximum out of the flying training and also enables him to pass CPL ground subject tests with élan.
- The Bangalore campus is the office which, with its ear to the ground, seeks and engages the best instructional talent in our endeavour to excel.
- Bangalore, being the capital of Indian aviation, has a vast pool of industry professionals including ex-test pilots, test engineers, airline pilots and aviation industry experts, who serve as visiting faculty to the academy in teaching advanced concepts to the students.
- Bangalore has excellent infrastructure and salubrious climate making it an obvious choice for setting up the aviation ground training school.
- Better accountability to the students and parents as we deal directly with the Indian student/parent through our admission office at Bangalore
The Philippine Campus
This campus caters to the flying training of AAI. Philippines was chosen for the flying facility due to the following:
- Salubrious weather through out the year ideally suited to aviation.
- The proximity to China and India provides us an easy entry into the growing market.
- Ease of obtaining visa and other training related clearances for students and instructors from all over the world.
- Existing exclusive facilities at an international airfield with all modern navigational and approach aids.
- Cost effectiveness.
- The Philippines CPL and FRTO are accepted worldwide, including by DGCA.
- The cost of living in Philippines is comparatively lower and so the students will not have additional heavy expenses.
- Philippines is a stable and safe country with a tradition of hospitality. It is a major tourist destination and the students will feel at home in this wonderful country.
- Philippines has an infrastructure matching the developed nations.
- English being the official language makes it easy for an Indian student to adjust.
