As a future aviator, is aviation a passion with you or is it dictated as a pure career choice? We at AAI believe it needs to be a harmonious mix of both these attributes to make a successful airline pilot. A true professional pilot has to have the passion for flying. Career mindedness brings in discipline and hard work.

A career as an airline pilot is glamorous. However, most aspiring pilots fail to understand that it is a lifetime of continuous education, commitment, dedication and responsibility. At AAI, we aim to equip you with the skill, knowledge, professionalism and discipline to continue on this wonderful journey.

AAI has a stringent selection criterion for choosing its students. This selection process includes tests in math and physics proficiency, a personality profiling and a Pilot Aptitude Test. The selection process has been instituted not to be exclusive, but to identify and ensure a candidate’s basic aptitude for aviation. We as an organisation, are morally responsible to you and the aviation community at large to ensure your suitability for aviation and to advice you accordingly. We value your time and money. The professional approach to assessing your suitability for the testing profession of aviation ensures that you are in the right profession and your parent’s hard earned resources are not wasted. You would be informed about your test date and nearest centre on receipt of your completed application.

AAI is established to train 180 students a year. This has been arrived at by building a suitable infrastructure and taking into account the following:
  • Ground Facilities: Classrooms, accommodation, ground instructors, simulators, simulator instructors.
  • Flying: Runway, airspace, aircraft, evaluating the weather data at our flying facilities, flying instructor availability, student’s ability to cope with flying and flight safety issues.
Our facilities in India and Philippines offer technologically advanced equipment and facilities, world-class educators and year round flying weather. The training is rather fast paced and the work loads are heavy, especially during the students stay in Philippines. To relieve the student’s burden of taking care of their day-to-day personal needs, we have made all efforts to cater to their housing, food, house keeping and laundry needs. We believe that a well-rounded flying education should also include other activities that will assist in the personal development and growth of every student. To this end, the academy has provided for extra-curricular, co-curricular and entertainment activities.
