Home > About AAI > Guidance Counsellors

AAI has designated counsellors for the following:

  • Admission Counsellors: The admission counsellors are well trained in the admission procedure of AAI. They are available to the prospective students, parents and guardians to consult and hand hold during the entire admission process. They would also assist in the following:
    • Presentation, in person or internet based.
    • Campus visit scheduling.
    • Application processing and keeping track of the status of applications.

  • Financial Counsellor: The financial counsellors have relationships with banks and will assist the students through the loan process

  • Academic Counselling:  Academic counselling is done by the Chief Ground Instructors. They will keep the students and parents abreast of academic performance throughout the course.

  • Flight Training Counselling: Flight training counselling is carried out by the Chief Flying Instructors and the Chief Instructor. Overall performance of the students will be reviewed by a Trainiing Review Board that consists of flying and ground instructors, CFI, CGI and CI.

  • Personal Counsellor: The training course puts the students under high work loads and high pressure situations. Further, most of the students are away from their families for the fist time. AAI provides personal counselling as an avenue for students to meet one-on-one with a professional counsellor to discuss and explore personal issues, concerns and feelings that they are experiencing. Most students seek counselling when their usual ways of coping with challenging situations are not working. Content of student counselling is confidential. Faculty, staff, parents, and administrators cannot receive information without the student’s permission.
