Aeronavigation Academy International Philippines Inc (AAIPI) is based at New Bacolod-Silay International Airport, in the province of Negros Occidental. The academy complex is housed inside the airport General Aviation area. An aesthetically designed complex, the campus has adequate space for present training activities and future growth prospects. A wi-fi enabled spacious complex; it symbolises the AAI commitment to excellence and quality AAI.
The AAIPI campus consists of aircraft, simulator, associated maintenance and safety facilities, class rooms, administration offices, accommodation, dining, sports and recreational facilities. The Philippines campus is a self sufficient entity capable of meeting all training requirements, besides meeting all needs of the student and staff.
Silay was chosen for the flying facility due to the following:
- Salubrious weather through out the year ideally suited to aviation. Unlike other places in Philippines Negros is not affected by severe weather like typhoons, heavy rains and extended bad weather periods. Training flying can be planned round the year.
- Proximity to Bacolod, the city of smiles. It offers high quality of living at an affordable cost.
- A new airport with all modern navigational and approach aids.
- AAIPI is the only flying school operating out of Silay airport and therefore has ample training airspace and exclusive access to the modern airport for training flying.
- Negros is a safe province with a culture tradition of hospitality.
