AAIPI makes extensive use of information technology to improve communication, increase efficiency, bring in transparency and provide accountability. The following are the elements of the IT infrastructure at the Academy:
- Wired and wireless campus.
- MRO package for maintenance.
- Paperless flying and ground training records, scheduling and currency record maintenance.
- Portal that has calendaring, document store with version control, bulletin board, blogs, chat etc.
- Email.
- Skype is viable, reducing communication cost between parents and wards.
- Students bringing in GSM Triband phones from India will be receiving a P500 SIMM card so each student will have a local phone numbers.
