AAIPI takes great care in selecting a faculty that truly represents its commitment to quality training, its passion for aviation, its quest for excellence and its attitude of ‘No Compromise’. The international faculty is also a representative of the Academy global aspirations. The faculty is highly experienced and passionate about teaching the art and science of flying. The instructor to pupil ratio is maintained at 1:5 for greater personal interaction and facilitating focused individual attention.
- Qualification: All instructors are type qualified, knowledgeable and have the requisite certification for undertaking the demanding task of air-instruction.
- Methodology: The instructors have been selected after a rigorous process of interviews, flying with the Director/CFI and studying the track record on their instructional capability and flight safety.
- Patter and Standardisation: The instructional methodology and airborne instructional technique has been standardised at AAIPI, while retaining the flexibility to cater to individual student requirement to ensure optimum learning value. The instructors are regularly checked for their competence by the Director/CFI for maintaining desired high institutional standards.
- Temperament: Flying instruction is a very taxing and draining task wherein the temperament of the Instructors is stretched. We take great care in selecting our instructors to ensure they have patience and enthusiasm to deliver the goods even under stress.
- Instructor/Pupil Ratio: It is an accepted fact that that for optimum interaction and teaching the Instructor to Pupil ratio should not go down below 1:5. At AAI we always maintain this ratio.
