Today, airlines get over 600 applications for every pilot vacancy. As of now there are over 3000 unemployed CPL holders looking for jobs. Thus the airlines have a huge pool of talent to cherry pick and will recruit only the best in terms of flying experience, knowledge, aptitude, personality, and bearing.
AAI has on its staff veterans of the aviation industry, who were on the recruitment board of various airlines in India.
