AAI conducts the following courses, namely:
1. The Airline Oriented Pilot Course(AOPC)
The course is designed to cater to the standards of various governing/licensing bodies (FAA, JAA, ATO, DGCA). Over and above catering to the basic licensing requirement, it also delivers advanced airline oriented training including MCC, LOFT and CRM, keeping the student ahead of the pack. This course would include the following from certification/licensing point of view:
- Private Pilot License
- Instrument Rating
- Night Endorsement
- Commercial Pilot License
- Multi-Engine Endorsement
2. DGCA License Conversion Course
Holders of CPL license from any country other than India wanting to get an Indian CPL License can register for this course. The course duration is 4 weeks during which extensive and exhaustive preparations are done to clear the DGCA papers. Most qualified faculty conduct this course. Over and above this a set of Ground Studies for Pilots, AAI Question Banks, and Notebooks are issued.
3. Online ATPL Course
AAI beleives in making quality education available at the fingertips of every professional aviator. We, at AAI, recognize the extremely large gap in the demand for good ATPL ground training, and the lack of the same in the Indian market. AAI in collaboration with Nordian has entered the field to bring quality distance education through an e-learning platform.
Nordian is an e-learning solution provider collaborating with the KLM Academy, Manchester University, and London Newport University. Nordian has the experience and is the market leader in conducting the JAA FCL-ATPL(A) program. After careful analysis and study, AAI has, using the Nordian e-learning platform, designed, structured, and created a course to meet the current needs of the DGCA - ATPL(A) syllabus. This web-based e-learning system, along with books, CBT lessons, study guides, and online tests is ideally suited to the "on the move community" of professional Indian aviators. 'Study on the move', on your own time as you work. All you need is laptop and a broadband internet connection.
4. Flight Instructor Course
This is a unique course exclusively designed to help aspiring young pilots, who need to build experience into their resume to be able to get that dream airline job. AAI handholds you in getting your instructional rating with a single motto of ensuring that you can build up yor hours, learn the tricks of being an airline pilot and move on in life!
