At AAI, we take our training seriously. Students are expected to be well prepared for each day’s activities. Instructors will monitor all ground training and will strictly adhere to academy training policies and procedures. A student’s calendar will be continuously updated by AAI personnel and it is the student’s responsibility to adhere to the schedules provided to them. AAI students will be immersed in the airline pilot’s way of life from the first day of class. Days will be broken down, with hours dedicated to different subject of aviation. The library and labs would be open till late in the evening for the student’s benefit.
All students are divided into batches for flying. The shifts are rotated every week. The morning batch will attend a mass briefing and commence flying at first light. Thereafter, they will attend ground lectures/classes for two hours. The subsequent batches will follow the same pattern until flying is concluded. During the night flying phase the students fly at night and will have the next day off. The students are expected to use their off-working hours to prepare for the next days activities. |
